Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN)
- ✦Direct flights from most major US cities (NYC, LAX, MIA, ORD, IAH, ATL)
- ✦Flight time: 3–5 hours depending on origin
- ✦US passport holders: no visa required for tourist stays
- ✦Book early, mid-April is high season in Riviera Maya
From India
Fly to Cancún (CUN) via US, Europe, or Mexico City (MEX)
- ✦Typical routes: DEL/BOM → EWR/JFK/LHR/FRA → CUN
- ✦Total travel time: 20–28 hours depending on layover
- ✦Visa: Mexican tourist visa required, OR a valid US/UK/Schengen visa grants visa-free entry
- ✦Allow extra time for connections and check baggage rules carefully
From Mexico
Domestic flight to Cancún (CUN) or drive from nearby cities
- ✦Regular domestic flights from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey
- ✦Short flight times, 2 to 3 hours from most Mexican cities
- ✦No visa or additional travel documents required
- ✦Driving from Mérida, Playa del Carmen, or Tulum is also convenient
Airport Transfers
Cancún Airport is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Barceló Maya Palace. We recommend pre-booking private transfers or shared shuttles in advance. Details will be shared closer to the date.
